Overview

Valve Community is a website dedicated to listing and promoting websites that cover games made by Valve Software.  This site is not affiliated with them in any way, shape or form.

Players of one of Valve’s games often appreciate many of the others, and this site makes finding websites that cover your favourite games much easier than using a normal search engine.

Each entry, contains a medium sized screenshot, an objective description, direct link, a list of games it covers, the site’s features, the date the screenshots were taken, a coummunity rating and a full length screenshot.

The Rating System

The system has 5 levels:

• 1 Box: Terrible!
• 2 Boxes: Bad
• 3 Boxes: OK
• 4 Boxes: Good
• 5 Boxes: Great!

Types of Sites listed

If the site has some connection to one of Valve’s games then it can be listed, that includes individual mappers, mod teams and even mods themselves!

If in doubt, just submit it and cross your fingers.

Favorites System

Registering allows you to create a list of favorite websites, which are displayed in the sidebar when logged in. In the near future it will be possible to share this list with others.

The Full Length Screenshot

Occasionally the full length screenshot is taken from a different part of the site because the frontpage is very basic.

Embedded videos, flash and other dynamic content currently are not visible in full length screenshots.
